Bev was a dedicated stay at home mom for many years. She later became a personal care worker at Parkhaven Estates and finished her career at Northwood.
She loved to entertain, and her specialty was cooking comfort food for many family gatherings.
An adventurous person, she always had a fondness for sports cars and motorcycles. She also enjoyed travelling, whether it was to New York, or weekend trips to the farmhouse in Bridgewater.
Our mom was a woman of deep faith and was a member of the Metro Wesleyan Church. She loved gospel music and could often be heard singing along to her favourite songs sung by the Gaither Vocal Band.
She is survived by her ex -husband and best friend Frank; daughters, Katherine (Monty), Pamela; son Christopher; granddaughter Marly; step-granddaughter, Jaclyn; step-grandson Ryan (Krystal); step-great grandchildren, Cailin and Carter; nephews, Terry, Kevin, Glen and Ian. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Carol and son-in-law Brian.
We would like to thank the nurses on the palliative care unit VGH, for their compassionate care during our mom’s final days.
Donations in her memory can be made to the VON or 7A Palliative Care Unit, VGH.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 6 at 2pm, JA Snow Funeral Home 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. Pastor Aaron Birtch officiating. Reception to follow.
