

Wilson (Oxner) Beverley Marie of Halifax. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of Helen Oxner and late Charles Oxner. Beverley Wilson will always be remembered for putting her family first. Bev always supported her husband’s career and stayed at home to raise her two boys. As the boys grew older, Beverley returned to the workplace. Bev worked at Image Wear Uniform Rentals only a few blocks from her home and made long lasting friends with many of her co-workers and neighbours. After 15 year career, Bev retired to help raise her grandchildren and to enjoy her garden. Sadly, Beverley lost her 30 year battle with liver disease and will be greatly missed by all.
Survived by her sons, Troy (Amy), Langley, BC; Kenny (Lisa); sister, Jo-Ann Oxner; sisters-in-law, Debbie Wilson, Pam (Ron) Beales; brothers, Jim (Rita) Oxner, Craig Oxner; brothers-in-law, Eddie (Cathy) Wilson, Robert (Germaine) Wilson, Mike (Shirley) Wilson, BC; grandchildren, Daniel, Jack, Allyson, and Cooper as well as and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband, Ken Wilson; sister, Marjorie Oxner; brother, Terry Oxner; father-in-law, Edward Wilson; mother-in-law, Bertha Wilson; sister-in-law, Carrie- Ann Oxner.
Visitation to be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 6-8 pm in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax (902-455-0531). Private family burial to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
