Bruce loved to dance.  We spent many years dancing at the Harborfront Lounge and later at the Pacifico Lounge.  It was good times by all.  Many blessings to all his family, and especially his son, Ryan. 

I worked with Bruce for many years at Ceres.  He loved to talk about all his adventures in dancing and travel.  I had the pleasure of seeing him a few times after he retired and he seemed to be enjoying retired life.  He will be missed 

I remember Bruce very well from Saint Pat’s High School in Halifax, I think he was in my home room class in Grade 11, 1969-1970. 
I remember we had chats on a regular basis but I lost track of him over the decades, Condolences to his Family and Friends.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the sudden passing of Bruce George Hum.  We are friends of the Desrochers families.
May the sorrow you feel in your hearts lighten by the love that surrounds you all during this difficult time.  Know that you will always have the wonderful memories to cherish and comfort you. He is resting peacefully with loved ones that have gone before him.

Bruce was a good friend growing up and going to school together at  St.Patricks . We shared an interest in motorcycles and rode together ,once on an adventure to P.E.I. , which still brings back wonderful memories . He was a true friend who " had your back" long before the expression came into common use. We went on a trip to Boston together once driving in his brand new Monte Carlo. Bruce was a wonderful person .  I will miss him . 

My condolences to the family of Bruce Hum. Bruce was a good friend back in our early years in the old neighborhood. Bruce was always a kind person. Always admired by the girls for his good looks and friendly ways. Rest in peace Bruce you were always a good person and will be remembered fondly by the many who were fortunate to have known you.

I miss you Dad! I'll never forget the time we spent together and the memories we shared. My father helped me work on cars and we also worked together to help build his previous house in Bedford. This helped give me the confidence I needed to tackle issues head-on. Thank you, Dad! We went to many movies together over the years and saw lots of great movies such as Jurassic Prak; surprised I didn't end up an official movie critic lol. My father loved to travel and enjoyed relaxing in the sun on the beach, whether it be down south when we have colder weather here or locally during our short summer period. GranDad as he was known to his grandchildren Willow and Sterling was always a pleasant joy to see as we would often get to go out and play downtown by the giant wave sculpture and frequent Public Gardens or go on adventures to the museum. We will hold you in our hearts forever Dad! Enjoy the unlimited dancing and beach lounging for all eternity. Until we meet again.
