

Carl Milford Noye age 82 of Halifax passed away at the Victoria General hospital on Friday, October 20, 2023. Born in Enmore, Prince Edward Island, he was the son of the late Gordon and Maisie (Ramsay) Noye. Survived by his wife Janet (Ramsay) Noye; son Michael Noye; grandchildren Megan and Jacob Noye; brothers and sisters Glen MacPhee, Esther MacLean, George (Eunice) Noye, and Harold (Marnie) Noye; brother-in-law Don Callbeck and Harry Williams; sister-in-law Fran Noye, Anna Noye, Barbara Armstrong, and Arlene George; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Wallace Noye, Thane Noye, and Allison Noye; sisters Helen Biggar Callbeck, Joyce Williams, and Ella Mae in infancy; brother-in-law Reggie MacLeod, Byron MacPhee, Elmer Biggar, Claude MacLean, Joe George,
and Robert Armstrong; and sister-in-law Ruby Noye.
Carl worked at the HMC dock yard for 25 years where he made many great friends. He earned the nickname “Kodak Carl” through his enjoyment of capturing photos of his many memories and loved ones throughout the years. Some of his greatest joys were taking trips to Prince Edward Island, playing music with family, and making others laugh. He was a proud and loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather.
Funeral service will be held at JA Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, NS) on October 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.; Rev. Kevin Little officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
