Green, Catherine Mary (Corkum) aged 92 years of Halifax passed away peacefully at the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 with her family at her side. Catherine was the daughter of the late Lester and Ellen May (Gray) Corkum.
Catherine is survived by her daughter Sharon (Gary) Burrows, Halifax; her son, John of Halifax and her grandchildren Andrew (Hannah Cavicchi-Burrows) and David. Catherine was predeceased by her husband, Clarence (Dodger); sisters, Ethel Steeves and Reta Carnell; brothers, Robie, Donald as well as three brothers who passed away as young children.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax (902-455-0531) from7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place at Trinity Anglican Church, 321 Main Avenue, Halifax on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 1:00pm with Rev. Robert Elford officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trinity Anglican Church or a charity of your choice.
