Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Cedric Woodbury and Virginia Lawrence.
In his younger year’s he enjoyed bowling, the Lake lot and attended the sporting events of his children.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years Linda (Awalt); his sons, Terry William Woodbury (Kim Murphy), Brad Woodbury (Suzette Dominey) and Josh Woodbury; sisters, Johanna (David) Paton, Cynthia Woodbury (Andre); brothers, Brian (Joyce) Woodbury and Wade Woodbury; his grandchildren, Leah Woodbury and Braydon Woodbury. He was predeceased by his adopted brother, Brian Bell.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax (455-0531), where the funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th at 11am with Pastor Wayne Dominey officiating. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation.
