Eileen C. Dodson

DODSON, Eileen (McGuigan) – originally from Prince Edward Island and a long time resident of Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2012 at Parkstone Enhanced Care. Eileen is survived by her four children and their families:

Daughter Kathy Dodson, Métis-sur-Mer, Québec; sons Jerry (and Marj) Dodson, San Carlos, Panama, Jim (and Ellen) Dodson, Bedford, Nova Scotia, Greg (and Denise) Dodson, Martins Point, Nova Scotia; grandchildren Bret, Kelly, Christopher and Kate; sisters Ethel Jay, Toronto, Ontario, Lillian (and George) Wilson, Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, Emily (and Paul) Landry, Stratford, Prince Edward Island, as well as several nephews, nieces and sisters-in-law. She is predeceased by her husband, Gerald Raymond Dodson, her parents Laura and James McGuigan, her brothers Philip, James, Lorne, George, and Leo; and sisters Lois, Laura (Lolly) and Dorothy.

Visitation will be held at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax (902) 455-0531 from 7-9pm on Friday, February 17, 2012.

A memorial service, let by Reverend James Hayes, will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 in the funeral home chapel, beginning at 11:00am. The service will be followed by a reception.
