Eileen Morris

announces her passing on October 24, 2025, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, at the age of 86.

Born in Port Aux Basques, Newfoundland, Eileen lived a quiet life

devoted to her family and to God. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she will be remembered for her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering faith in Jesus.

Eileen is lovingly remembered by her four children, William Morris,

Sharon-Lee Morris, Keith Morris (Bernadette), and Kimberly Valverde (Leopoldo); her 15 grandchildren; her four great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Carol Ann Crewe, Ruby Moriarity and sister-in-law Margaret Miles. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles Reginald Morris, her parents Margaret and Nelson Miles, and her brother Ralph Miles.

Eileen found joy in simple moments, family dinners, heartfelt

conversations, and sharing her thoughtful advice. In her younger

years, she enjoyed singing, pottery, and long walks with friends. Her

smile could brighten any room, and her presence brought comfort to all who knew her.

Though she will be dearly missed, her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace and in the presence of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus.

Visitation will be held on October 27 at 2pm, and funeral service will

be held on Tuesday, October 28 at 10am. Both services will be at JA

Snow Funeral Home in Halifax.
