She is predeceased by her sons David and Micheal and her brother Kenneth and sister Eileen Myrer. She is survived by her husband of 73 years George and her sons Stephen (June), Timothy (Debby), and Thomas, her daughter-in-law Shirley, her brother Raymond, 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and also worked at Sears and also at a garden kiosk at Bayers Road Shopping Center. She loved to travel and she and her sister Eileen spent many hours enjoying places like Barbados, Dominica, Cuba, and Florida. She was an avid gardener many flowers graced our yard. She also loved bingo and had many friends whom she played with. She was a member of Saint Timothy’s Church and attended services when she was able.
She was our star in the night, the family jewel precious and loving. The flowers in garden were pale in comparison to her.
There will be a funeral service for her on Wednesday May the 20th at 10am at St Timothy’s Church Hatchet Lake.
The family thanks the home care girls who provided much help to Eleanor over the past 14 months. They made the situation much more livable.
