Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on June 25, 1937 She was the daughter of: the late Flossie (Jollymore) Moss and the adoptive father Edwin Howitt and (Katherine ).
She spent many years in working for the Royal Bank of Canada in Halifax, Goose Bay Labrador, Nassau Bahamas. She then worked for the bank of Nova Scotia in Nassau. She then returned to Nova Scotia and worked for the H.H. Marshall, Ltd. starting in 1976 and retired in 1997.
Eleanor is survived by her Son Jason (Shelley) and children Ethan and Teagan, Sisters Barbara Gerritse and Gloria Levay, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 11:00 am in J A Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax Nova Scotia.
