Eric William Gay

Eric was self-employed, owning C&D Cleaning and Security Services LTD for over 35 years. He loved music and enjoyed playing guitar, but his passion was drumming, and he played with many bands over the years. He enjoyed camping and in recent years attending pro stock racing with family in the last couple years. He loved his family and spending time with them was special.

Eric is survived by his wife of 34 years, Rita (Creelman) Gay, Halifax, daughters Erica (Craig) Dodsworth, Sarah (Gerry) Rygiel and son Aaron (Stephanie) Gay. Sister Barb (Ron) Hines. Seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Beside his parents he was predeceased by sister Mildred Hussey and brother Buddy (Ralph) Gay.

Visitation will be held Wednesday February 14, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at JA Snow funeral home, 339 Lacewood drive, Halifax. Funeral service, Thursday Feb 15, 10:00 a.m. JA Snow Funeral home, Lacewood Drive. Family flowers only, donations may be made to 7A Palliative Care Unit, VG Site.
