

Glen was a retired professor at the Nova Scotia College in Truro where he worked for 31 Years. He taught art and earl childhood education. He was a founding father of The Little White School House Museum in Truro, NS. Glen was also an avid collector of antiques and local art. He was known for his keen mind, creativity, and his good eye for old furniture. He was often sought out by art dealers and collectors.
Survives his son Keith Pierce (kip), daughter in law Sherry Pierce, two grandchildren, one great grandchild and 7 nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his wife Anna Marjorie Pierce (Nan), brothers Arden of Saint Andrews N.S and Colin or Kingston Ontario, and his parents Marshall and Verda Pierce.
A services will be held at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, on November 16th at 10 am. Donations may be made to The Little White School House Museum, 36 Arthur Street, Truro, NS, B2N1X5, tax receipts available.
Blessed with a keen mind and such determination to get things done, Glen was the victim of dementia. It is heart breaking to see such a strong man fall victim to such a hideous disease.
