

Perrott, Glenn Dale - 62 of White’s Lake, NS passed away Jan. 14, 2012 in the Halifax Infirmary after a short illness. He was a son of the late Henry George and Eva(Boutilier)Perrott. He is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Nancy(Rodgers), his sons Brent and Scott, White’s Lake, brothers, Douglas , Beaverbank, Blair(Marjorie), Malagash, NS, sister, Glorina Pontes(Virgil), North Dighton, Mass, sister-in-law Dorothy Perrott, Timberlea, brothers-in-law Tony(Sally)Rodgers, Hfx. and Bill (Dawn Leslie)Rodgers, Grand Lake, many nieces and nephews and loyal friends. He was predeceased by his brother Henry and sister Lorraine Digdon. He graduated from BC Silver High School, joined the Halifax Police Dept. Aug. 4, 1969, retiring in the spring of 1999. Glenn worked for the city of Halifax for 30 years, working in many areas over the years, the most enjoyable for him was his time in the traffic department because he got to ride Harleys. He was a motorcycle enthusiast from the age of 16 and enjoyed many road trips with his brothers and his biking buddies and later with his sons. He also was a talented singer and sang in many choirs, including a couple of years with the Atlantic Swells Barbershoppers, but most recently with the St. Paul’s United Church Choir in Spryfield. Glenn was a devoted husband and father and his sons were his pride and joy. He will be dearly missed by all but his little dog Casey, probably already snuggled up on his lap, together again. Visitation will be Tues. Jan. 17, 5-8pm in JA Snow Funeral Home. 339 Lacewood Dr. Hfx NS (455-0531). Funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, Sambro Road Wed. Jan. 18, 2012 at 11am.
