ROGERS, Harold Arthur “Hal” – 91, passed away Oct. 26, 2014. He was a long-time resident of Halifax, NS, originally from Havelock, NB. Hal began his working life in NB with the Department of Agriculture before moving on to a long and fulfilling career with Imperial Oil. He enjoyed woodworking and cottage life in his retirement years. Hal is survived by wife, Alta (Drake); daughters, Nan, Bev, and Kim; grandchildren, Evan, Colin, Lexi, and Matt; brother, Eldon and many nephews and nieces. He was pre-deceased by parents, Waldo and Mary (Keith); siblings, Ivan, Stan, and Eva.
Service to take place on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at 11:00 am in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., B3S 0E1 (902-455-0531). Private family burial. Donations in Hal’s memory may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Nova Scotia or a charity of choice.
