Jack Christopher Dobbin

DOBBIN, Jack Christopher – age 5, of Hubley, N.S. passed away suddenly February 24, 2011 at the IWK Health Centre. Born in Halifax, he was the son of Christopher Donald Dobbin and Jill Margaret Tingley. Jack attended Grade Primary at Tantallon Elementary School. He enjoyed swimming, fishing, lacrosse, remote control cars, skim boarding at the beach, and most of all being with his best friend and sister Maci. Jack had a love for life that could be matched by none. He loved being around people and was a magnet for making new friends.

Besides his parents, Jack is survived by his sister Maci and brother Fin, grandparents Kent and Peggy Tingley, and Don and Kathie Dobbin, Aunt Sue, Uncle Brad (Sandy), Aunts Tricia and Lisa, Uncle Michael, and great-grandparents Jim and Marjorie Potter and Florence Hakkers and a number of loving cousins. Visitation will be held at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax N.S. (902) 455-0531 on Sunday, February 27th from 2:00pm - 4:00pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church Halifax, corner of Coburg Rd. and Robie St. on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. Burial in St. John Cemetery.
