

Jacqueline Adele O'Laughlin – 82, of Halifax passed away peacefully at home under the care of her children, Wednesday, August 3, 2011. She is survived by her son Clifford (wife Leanne) of Dartmouth and daughters Deborah of Victoria BC, Heather MacDonald (husband Dean) of Hammonds Plains and Adele deRosenroll of Victoria BC. Also by her six grandchildren, Dylan, Nicole, Patrick, Paul, Geoffrey and Alex and five great-grandchildren, Marshall, Carter, Devlin, Sydnei, and Grayson. Jacqueline was predeceased by her husband Cliff, her mother Olive Preston and her brother Earl White. Dedicated to her family, home and community, she also gave support to Girl Guides of Canada and Sunday School for many years. Jacqueline grew up in Prospect where she had many life long friends, but wherever she and Cliff called home they enjoyed the company of good friends who will miss her deeply. Visitation will be Monday, August 8th 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr. Halifax (902) 455-0531 and a funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Prospect Village on Tuesday, August 9 at 11 a.m. Private family burial in Mount Olivet. The family requests in lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Canadian Cancer Society.
