James "Jim" Raymond Adams

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of James Raymond Adams on May 30th, 2021. Jim is survived by his loving wife Lynda (née McCuen) of 55 years, his sons Todd (Stephanie), Tom (Dale), daughter Marni, his grandchildren Lauren, James, Lilly, Ethan, Tristan, Cuen, and step grandchild Rias. He is also survived by his brother Douglas (Brenda), and sister Louise Riedel (Juergen). He is predeceased by his mother Lillian and father Joseph. Jim has had an amazing life full of adventure and travel. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey in 1942, he grew up in Dalton, New Hampshire, and immigrated to Canada in 1967. Jim was the youngest US Army Sergeant in Korea in 1962. In 1969 he started Jym Line Sportswear which is now Jym Line Glassware, still going strong today. Jim loved giving back to his community and was a lifelong member of the Kiwanis Club. He spent many years volunteering with the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, and always lent a hand to family and friends. Jim had a great sense of humour and loved to tease! Jim will sadly be missed by so many, forever remembered as an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Loved by all, may he rest in God’s loving arms.
