Janette Ellen White

Born in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of Malcolm and Ellen MacFarlane.

Janette was survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Claude White. In addition she is survived by two sons, Mark, Stephen (Jackie) and daughter Michelle (Chris); one brother, Malcolm MacFarlane; five grandchildren, Alex, Lucas, Connor, Cody and Olivia.

She was predeceased by two brothers, James and Reginald, and one grandson, Gavin.

Janette was employed at Sobeys in Bedford, NS, for 25 plus years, greeting everyone that came through her checkout with the warmest of smiles.

The family wished to express a special thank you to Heather Lambie, who helped care for Janette during the last few years, allowing her to stay home with Claude. Also a heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Schooner Landing Unit at the Ivany Northwood Care Home for their compassion and dedicated care shown to Janette.
