

Born in Halifax, NS. On September 8th 1975, he was the beloved son of Donald MacDonald (Mabou) and Shirley MacRae (Halifax).
Jason was a driven and talented individual in both his personal life and professional career. From removing hundreds of dents in a single vehicle so it would look new again, playing and loving the game of hockey and teaching himself new tricks, to being the most devoted and loving father to his three children. While his career was at Dent Wizard, his passion for sports and fitness was at the rink and especially in the gym. His character is what defined him and that will always shine on though his kids.
Survived by his girlfriend Lindsay Desjardins (Lower Sackville); longtime friend and co-parent Mandy Burke; sons Cameron (Jacob) 26 (Lucasville) and Caleb 18 (Middle Sackville); daughter Brigette 15 (Middle Sackville); brother Craig (Danielle) (Middle Sackville); step sister Laura Collett (Eastern Passage); several nieces and nephews Cooper and Presley MacDonald (Middle Sackville), Sophia, Madey and Audrey Cooper (Turner Valley, Alberta); as well as extended family and many friends.
He was predeceased by grandparents Angus A. and Mary Janet MacDonald, Dan Joe and Sadie MacRae, and Step- father Brian Collett.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Nov 28th at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr. Halifax from 2-4 pm and 6-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 1288 Bedford Hwy on Monday November 29th at 11am. Burial will be at a later date in early summer.
Those attending the visitation and funeral service are required to provide proof of full vaccination and government issued ID. Masks are mandatory.
