Jean Eleanor White of Halifax, passed away peacefully on July 24 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Torbrook, NS in 1930 to the late William and Hilda McConnell. Mum worked at Klines when she first came to Halifax, was a full time homemaker and worked at Sears before she retired. She is survived by her children Lynda (Joe), Debbie (Roger) and William, also grandchildren Craig, Chris, Hollie, Becki and Robbie and great grandchildren Charlie, Henri, Clara and Rose. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Leslie, her sisters Betty, Shirley, Louise and brother Ralph. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her including Ruby, Nila and Marie.
