Craig, Joan Marina, 76, of White’s Lake. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear mother and best friend on December 4, 2012 at Northwood Manor after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late Roy and Elizabeth “Bessie” Slaunwhite and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Joan retired in 1991 after 20 years service with Sears, Halifax. She is survived by daughter Betty (Tim) Beazley and son Jim (Cindy) Craig; grandchildren, Craig Tucker, Chad and Holly Craig. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth; brothers Don and George and sisters, Muriel, Myrna, and Greta. Visitation: 10:30 am-11 am Friday December 14, 2012 at Snow’s Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, followed by and where Funeral Service will be held 11 am.
