Murray, John Douglas, 77 of Bedford, NS. Passed away peacefully February 17, 2015 at the VG Hospital with his wife and son by his side. He was born in London, England, son of the late Douglas and Bessie Murray.
He is survived by his wife Pam; son, Todd; sisters, Betty Howard (John Elder), California, and Rosemary McInnes (Ian) Chester, NS; brother, Richard Murray (Carol), Massachusetts, and his deceased brother, Robin’s wife, Pam Murray, Ontario.
John worked for the Engineering Department, City of Dartmouth for almost 30 years.
He was a member of the Armdale Yacht Club, Dartmouth Curling Club, and Brightwood Golf Club for many years. Cremation has taken place. No visitation or service. Thank you to the staff of 5B and 6A at the VG Hospital for the special care provided to our family.
