

He was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1958 – 1978, retiring with the rank of Master Corporal. This was followed by a second career with Canadian Customs working at the borders of McAdam, St. Stephen and Milltown, NB for 15 years. He was a member of the Legion and an active member of The Knights of Columbus where he twice achieved the status of Grand Knight. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, family activities and meeting his friends at the mess on Friday nights.
He is lovingly survived by his children, Susan, Marc, Peter (Megan) and Kevin (Cynthia); grandchildren, Mikaela, Braedon, William; sisters, Dora Boudreau, Regina (Steve) Essiembre, Agnes (Bob) Holihan, Georgine (Eli) Comeau and Bernadette Boudreau. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews, his former wife Margaret Mary and for the last ten years his partner and companion, Rose Marie. He was predeceased by brother, Joseph Lloyd.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 17th at 11 AM in Notre Dame du Mont Carmel Church, Concession.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gus’ memory are gratefully accepted to the Parkinsons Society Canada.
