Crook, Kenneth Alexander - 76 of Halifax died peacefully on April 5th 2011. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Alexander and Margaret (Innis) Crook. He was retired from the Customs and Excise Agency, having been an auditor for 35 years. Previous to that, he articled with the firm Barrow, Nicoll and Co. Chartered Accountants for 6 years. Previous to that he was employed by Canada Permanent Trust Company. He was a holder of various badminton and tennis titles. He was a member of the Waegwoltic Club and a member of Saint Andrew’s United Church. Other interests included charitable organizations. He was a graduate of Queen Elizabeth High School and also of the Chartered Accountancy program at Queen’s University. He was predeceased by his younger brother William David. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday April 22, 2011 at Brookside Cemetery, Bedford. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Andrew’s United Church missionary and maintenance fund.
