

Leo started his career in Trenton, NS as a machinist. Upon moving to Ottawa, he worked at Ottawa University for 20 years. He returned to Halifax and worked at TUNS until his retirement. Leo had a passion for cooking and entertaining family and friends. Summers were spent at Sand Lake with special cottage friends.
Survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Judy (Faucher); brother, Gordon (Jeanette); sisters, Marguerite Smiley, Rosie Hanratty, Joyce Belleau as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by his parents; siblings, Richard, Donnie, Josie, Marion, and Madeline.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, February 3 from 6-8 pm at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, 902-455-0531. Funeral Service will be held in St. Ignatius Church, 1288 Bedford Highway, on Wednesday, February 4, at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
