Leslie attended schools in CFB Kingston, CFB Borden and graduated High School in Halifax from Queen Elizabeth High. She continued her education with two years at Saint Mary’s University. She then joined the school of hair design and became a licensed hair dresser. Her next move was to join her recently married sister Sheila in Vancouver to be closer to Sheila, Jamie and Coco. Tired of doing hair she became a Vancouver bus driver. However, Nova Scotia was always in her heart and she returned home to her favorite place, Peggy’s Cove and Halifax. Back with all her friends, she landed a position with the Head Shop School of Hair Design. Leslie was back in her happy place. She could light up a room with her smile and free spirit attitude. She was a whiz at trivia and happy with the fact that she knew more about nothing than anyone.
Many Thanks to first responders and doctors who assisted. Cremation has taken place. Visitation Wednesday Oct 11 from 6-8pm. A memorial service Thurs Oct 12 at 10am with a reception to follow, all in JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr. Halifax.

We know our angel will be watching over us. She will be deeply missed but never never forgotten. Eternal love from mom, dad, Sheila, Jamie and Coco. Rest in peace Les, Love you!
