Of Dartmouth, NS passed peacefully at Parkstone Enhanced Care on August 22,2025 with her family by her side.
Lucy was born September 21,1948 in Popes Harbour, NS to the late Arleigh and Gloria Josey.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law Shelly and Glen Zinck. Grandchildren James Yule (Janna), Sarah Zinck and JR Zinck. Great Grandchildren Payton, River, Aurora, Ember and Jackson. Sisters Frances Malay, Faye Murphy (Graham) and brother Ronnie Josey (Pauline) as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She had a long standing 40 year career as an Account Executive with Arthur J. Gallagher Insurance and retired to enjoy her time in her trailer with family and friends with her fur baby Skipper by her side.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother in law Harold Malay.
There will be a private graveside service to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
