

Born in Halifax, he was the youngest son of the late John T. and Margaret (Tynan) Mulrooney. He is survived by brother, Frank and sisters, Theresa Mulrooney and Rita (Norm) Brousseau; several nieces and nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by brothers, Edward, John (Stevella), Gerald, and sister, Marion (Patrick) Falvey.
Along with his sister Theresa, he worked with his brother Dr. Gerald, Optometrist and Contact Lens Specialist. More recently he managed the family real estate business.
Terry had a deep faith, which he expressed by conceiving the Religious Articles Centre on Quinpool Road with his brother Ed and in a lifelong commitment to the Catholic Church, many of his years spent at St. Agnes Church. He loved animals and especially doted on the many family dogs. He enjoyed long drives in his 1968 Mustang to the cottage to spend time with his extended family.
Thank you to the medical teams in ER and Coronary Care. Visitation will be on Friday, December 12 from 2-5 pm at J.A Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. A Mass of Christian Burial and a celebration of Terry’s life will be on Saturday, December 13 at 10 am in St. Agnes Church, Mumford Road, Halifax, Rev. Paul Morris officiating. Interment immediately following mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Sackville. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, CNIB, or Alzheimer Society.
