He loved his job as it allowed him to meet many interesting people. He loved to debate. He sang Doo Wop in New York with the group “The Five Corners”. He loved animals, the Blues, and to look sharp. He was passionate about 12 step recovery and his Christian walk. “The 12 steps are the practical application of the Bible” he would say. “The Bible tells us how we are supposed to live and the 12 steps show us how”. He carried the message of recovery in many cities throughout North America. He was clean and sober for 33 years at the time of his death. He was a proud New Yorker and Yankees fan. He loved his country, he spoke Spanish, and was interested in other cultures and history. He studied people.
