Margaret Evelyn Pace

PACE, Margaret Evelyn Logan – passed away on Sept. 16, 2012 at Northwood. Born November 23, 1926 in Hamilton, Ontario; she was the daughter of the late Robert and Annie Logan. For several years, she worked at Westinghouse. On June 2, 1951, she married John Pace; they lived in various places in Ontario before moving to Nova Scotia in 1975. Margaret was very active in the life of The Presbyterian Church of Saint David from 1976 until ill health prevented her from participating in congregational activities. She did volunteer work with several organizations including the Halifax Symphony. She is survived by her son, Derek, her daughter, Diane Pace - Sutherland (Rob Sutherland), and by her grandchildren Cavan, Keiren and Kailie and a sister, Helen. She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Dr. John Pace in May, 2012; by her sisters Ruby, Annie, and Florence and brothers Tom and David. Visitation will be held at J.A Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax (902) 455-0531 on Friday, September 21st from 2-4 & 6-8pm. The funeral will be held at The Presbyterian Church of Saint David, Halifax on Saturday, September 22nd at 11 a.m.
