Warm, generous, feisty, always ready to share a laugh, or dashing off to bake a quick batch of molasses cookies - that was Marguerite. Like Nova Scotia itself, she will remain in my memory- all charming and simply beautiful.

I am a volunteer with therapeutic Paws of Canada, and my dog Colby and I have had many lovely visits with Marguerite over the past two years.  I always looked forward to those visits as she was such a bright and interesting woman.   Please accept my sincere condolences.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate the life of your dear Mother Marguerite today.  

When you look up into the sky at night and see the stars imagine they are not really stars but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones shines down to let us know they are with us.

Please accept my sincere sympathy on the passing of Marguerite.  I knew Marguerite as a friend for about 50 years.  I met it through the PC Party of Nova Scotia.  I knew her and her late husband, Norman.

Marguerite was a very fine lady who always enjoyed entertainment at my house and the houses of others who were in our little group many years ago when she lived on Almon St.  I, also, saw her after she had moved to Sir John S. D. Thompson Manor.

She enjoyed a very full life and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her and enjoyed her company.

Don and I wish to extend our sympathy to you and your family at this time. She was a great lady and I will never forget that boat ride on the Rideau with your Mom. She was a great sport and wanted to look good the whole trip. You have a lot of great memories , treasure them.

Norman, Greg and Family - I was so saddened to read of your Mother's passing. There aren't too many people who have know you your entire life but Mrs. Scott was one of them.  Growing up on Edinburg/Almon Street next door to your Mom was a true pleasure.  She could always be seen hanging out her clothes,shaking her mats but even better, making cookies!  Mrs. Scott was a real go getter. You couldn't have asked for a better or more kind neighbour.  Even after she moved from Almon Street, we kept in touch, especially after my Mother passed away.  I visited her a couple times in Parkstone and spoke with her ever few months on the phone. Even though her body was failing her, she remained sharp as a tack. She was a remarkable woman who will be dearly missed.  I am unable to make the funeral Monday but you all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for the memories Mrs. Scott!  You wil be missed.

So sorry to see your Mom passed away  on Thursday, I was your Mom's hairdresser for a few yrs. till I left Parkstone and moved to the  Shannex building Caritas, that houses the catholic sisters almost a yr. and a half ago. I was in to see her a few times since I left and she called me once on the phone. We made a great friendship and she was truely one of my favorite residents from Parkstone. I sent her a Christmas card and was gonna get in to see her after Christmas but didn't make it before she passed away. She was a wonderful Lady and I loved her alot. Sending condolences from across the country and wishing I could be there with all of you.  Grammy will be greatly missed and always remembered with a smile on my face.  Going to visit on Almon St. was always an exciting event for me!  It always seemed like a great manor with it's big driveway and I knew that inside Grammy would be waiting with something delicious and a smile that felt like it was just for me.  To her I say thank you for some of the best memories of growing up.
