Marion Mae Gilbert

It is with deep regret of the family and friends we announce the passing of Marion Gilbert. Age 54, of Halifax passed away peacefully on December 28th, 2013 at the Halifax Infirmary. Born on April 10th, 1959 in Halifax NS. She is the daughter of Fred Gilbert and late Marion Hingley (Delaney).

She was a loving sister of Fred, Danny, Ronald, Rosemary, Helen (Gilbert), Corrina (Hingley) Heidi (Read) and Wendy (Frizzell). Marion was also a beautiful and loving aunt, niece and cousin.

Marion had a smile that would warm your heart and a laugh that was contagious. Besides the love of family she loved pictures of family and friends and enjoyed stuffed animals and phone numbers. Anyone who knew Marion loved her. A very beautiful soul has been taken from our site but we know she is still looking over us smiling and laughing and taking pictures.

The family would like to send a special thanks to the wonderful people who worked with Marion on a daily basis.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5 from 12-2 pm followed by a Celebration of her life at 2 pm at J. A. Snows Funeral Home, located at 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, N.S. (455-0531) Reception to follow service. She will be buried beside Grampa Delaney and Uncle Joe Delaney.
