Mary Charlotte Smith

Born in Charlottetown PEI, she was the daughter of the late Helen (Austin) and Parker Lund Sr. As a young woman Mom moved to Halifax where she met and married our Dad, Roy (Smitty) Smith. Once Dad passed (1979), Mom was the strength of our family. She would do anything for her girls.

Mom loved to knit and there have been many grateful recipients of her mittens, hats and scarves. She also enjoyed a good game of crib and loved her visits to PEI.

Mom is survived by her daughters Terri (Theresa), Raechal, Jocelyn (Joy), Noelle and Noelle’s partner Frank Anderson. She is also survived by her brother Parker Lund Jr of Halifax, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Charlotte was predeceased by her husband Smitty (1979), and her siblings Margaretta, Marie, Joyce, Erma, Roma, Sally, Kevin and Heather.

Cremation has taken place per Mom’s wishes. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Comfort and Care Grant Foundation of the QEII.

Mom, we will be forever grateful for your guidance, wisdom, inspiration and love. You will be truly missed.
