She was born in 1921 in Sydney NS. She was predeceased by her husband, Allan J. Sutherland. Betty is survived by daughter, Trish Turner; son, Bruce Sutherland; grandchildren, Leslie, Joey , Amy Fritz, and Loren Turner and great grandson, Michael Kelley Sutherland Fritz Jones.
Honourable mention goes to Shih Tzu Chloe, who was her constant companion. They had many enlightening chats.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Jacqueline for her never-ending love, support and special care for Betty. They shared many happy moments. Also, thank you to Dr. Phillips and his team at the Abbey Lane for their attentive care.
We were blessed to have Betty in our lives for so many happy years. She will be sorely missed. There will be a private family ceremony. Any donations may be made to Feed Nova Scotia.
