Michael James Redden

Redden, Michael James 38. It is with great sadness that we announce that Michael passed away suddenly at home in Cole Harbour on July 1, 2010 as a result of complications related to diabetes which he has had since he was eight years old. He will be sadly missed by his mother Marion, his grandfather John Redden of West Gore, his sister Kimberlea(Clint), his soon-to-be born niece Emma, all of his aunts, uncles and cousins too many to mention by name, who thought the world of him, and his faithful dog Maggie who was always by his side. He was predeceased by his father James, his grandmothers, Muriel Redden and Winnie Doubleday and his grandfather Harry Doubleday. He was a graduate of the class of 1991 from Cole Harbour District High School. He was also a graduate of the Nova Scotia Community College, Akerley Campus. He was a great support to his mother after his father died from cancer in January 2007. Family flowers only. Visitation will be held Tues. July 6, 2010 in JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr. Hfx. From 6-8 pm. Memorial service will be held Wed. July 7, 2pm in West Gore Church of Christian Disciples, West Gore, Rev. Angus R. MacDonald.
