Stallard, Muriel Thelma- 86, of Halifax passed away February 12, 2013 at Cobequid Medical Centre, Sackville NS. Born in Halifax, N.S. she was the daughter of William and Minnie Stewart. Muriel just received her 50 year pin with Vimy Legion. She was a dart player, pool player right up until she died, played guitar and sang in her earlier years. She also loved to dance and to travel in the last 25 years. Daughter Diane (Richard) Moffatt. Sons Mark Stallard, Jack (Wendy) Stallard and Wayne (Anna) Stewart. 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Arther Wellsley Stallard and companion Burt Carvell. Sisters Viola, Clara, Annie, Gladys. Brothers Herman, Harold, Robert and Chester.
Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service at Snow’s Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday, February 16, 2013. Burial will take place at a later date.
