
Born in Halifax, he was the son of Eleanor (Kristofferson) Boutilier and the late Myles George Boutilier.
Myles recently retired from Public Works Canada after 33 years service. He enjoyed gardening and spending time at the family cottage (The Lost Weekend) working on his many projects.
Myles is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sandy (Evong), daughter Ashley (Kearney Lake), sons Ryan and Adam both of Bedford, sister Cheryl (Don) Fisher of Williamswood, brother Daniel (Laurie) Boutilier, (Lower Sackville), mother-in-law Shirley Evong and sisters-in-law Heather Merritt and Karen Burke, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 19th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax where a memorial service will be held Monday, December 20th at 2 pm. Interment in St. John’s Columbarium. Donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the QEII or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
