It is with broken hearts and deep sadness we announce the passing of Patti on March 16, 2017.

Family was everything to her, especially her wonderful daughters, Madison and Mallory (father, Lenny). She is survived by her loving partner, Scott Blom (son, Raymond; daughters, Stephanie and Stacey). She leaves behind her mother, Madelyn Blakeney; brothers, Kenneth (Leanne), Karl (Cathy); sisters, Heather (Leo), Jennifer (Steven); nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, Kenneth Blakeney.

Patti loved family and life was never richer than when she was with her sisters and mother who shared a special bond beyond friendship. Her daughters were the pride of her life.

She loved travelling with Scott and her family and the countless projects and adventures they all enjoyed such as camping in Hubbards, spending time at the lake in Bridgewater and trips to Florida.

Patti fought a two year illness but maintained a fierce love of life. She enjoyed every moment that life could offer her, and more importantly, that she could offer to all those people she touched. She died peacefully surrounded by the family that she cherished. She is deeply missed.

A service will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at 1:00 pm in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, NS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
