

Born in Halifax, he was the son of Dr. Maurice E. Keating and Blanche Travis Keating. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Annette (LeBlanc) Keating and Julie Keating Porter and son-in-law Derek Porter, Ottawa.
He was predeceased by his sister Joanne.
Pat was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School and St. Mary’s University. He graduated from N.S.I.T. with a diploma in electronic technology. He retired from Maritime Tel & Tel. He volunteered with the Telephone Pioneer Computer Workshop for over 20 years.
Pat loved music (Gordon Lightfoot), playing the guitar, astronomy, electronics and word puzzles. He enjoyed his get-togethers with his school friends, playing golf and going to the movies. He looked forward to his Thursday coffee with the boys and meeting with the “Shop” gang for coffee. He loved spending time with his family. Pat was kind and generous with his family and friends.
He enjoyed travelling to many parts of the world with Annette and in earlier years as a family. He also enjoyed the many road trips throughout North America.

at 10 AM.
