Peggy Margaret Hart

Peggy was born in Halifax November 9,1939, to Edith and Ainsley Marryatt. She was a devoted wife, mother and very proud grandmother.

She is survived by daughters Cathy, Penny and son Joey; granddaughters Bailey and Mackenzie; son in Law Lorenzo Caterini; daughter in Law Jacquelyn Hart (Dempsey); twin sister Patsy Priske; brother Jack Marryatt, and many nephews and nieces.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Alan (married 56 years), sisters Tally, Mary, Kaye, Nancy, Betty and brothers Hector, Peter and George.

Besides cleaning her house, which was immaculate, and baking delicious bread and sweets, Mom enjoyed being in the outdoors. She enjoyed hiking, camping, and the odd fishing expedition with Dad (Alan). Mom also enjoyed listening to music and dancing. For many years Mom and Dad could be seen walking, hand in hand, along the road in Williamswood.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Parkstone Enhanced Care for their care and support of the past 6+ years.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Peggy November 1, 2024 from 3-7pm at J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, NS
