Phyllis E. Eby

Born in Tiptree, Essex, England, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Nellie Regent.

She was a member of the Canadian Dance Teachers’ Association and a winner of the Maritime Amateur Ballroom Dance Championship in 1961.

Phyllis worked as an Activity Therapist at the Halifax Co. Regional Rehabilitation Centre, Cole Harbour, and a counsellor at Bryony House. She also enjoyed making various handcrafts.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter Yvonne Phyllis Morgan (nee Sandy) (spouse Brian); three grandchildren Dee Ann Groot koer kamp (Morgan) (spouse Gerry Groot koer kamp), Eastern Passage, Stacey Johnston (Morgan) (spouse Darcy Johnston), Trevor Morgan (Nicole Walsh), Bridgewater, NS; four great-grandchildren Alexandra Groot koer kamp and Evan Groot koer kamp and Zachary Johnston and Dante Johnston.

She was predeceased by husband Bud Eby and also brothers Charles Regent, Donald Regent, Ben Regent and Peter Regent.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Northwood Ivany Place, Bedford for all of their support and help over the last two years.
