Richard Howard Williams

He was Blessed with a loving family. Richard married his sweetheart Doreen (Purcell) of 53 years and they have five children. Deirdre (Kevin)Cooper, Rick (Vanessa), Steve (Karen), Connie (Doug) Valdron, Doreen(Chris) Nickerson. Also leaving behind many grandchildren ,many aunts and uncles, and nieces and nephews. Leaving brothers Bill (Ruby), Paul(Ruby), Eric(Veronica) Francis (Laurie)and one sister Cathy Lawlor. Also a special Aunt Bridgette Cooper of Newfoundland . Also his loving sister in law Audrey (Gary)Bakke and his sister in law Elizabeth Ann Purcell. He was predeceased by his parents , Howard and Rita Williams and his sister Sandra Whalen.

Richard took pride in his Newfoundland heritage and loved to share stories and tell jokes. He was a hard worker and provided for his family unconditionally. Richard adored his children and proud of his grandchildren. He spent the last 26 years in Halifax,NS and was committed to his Faith in Jesus and to a place he loved, Camp Evangeline (Debert,NS)

Visitation will be held,Thursday, July 13th 7-9 at Faith Tabernacle ,6225 Summit St. Halifax

Memorial Service will be held Friday, July.14th from 1-3, fellowship to follow.

Internment to take place at a later time in St.John's, NL
