Ronald Chadraoui

passing on Thursday, December 30, 2021.

Ron was born on February 7, 1969 in Halifax to the late Akel and Mountaha (Elia) Chedrawe. He grew up in Dartmouth and attended Saint Mary’s University where he received a Diploma in Engineering; continued at Technical University of Nova Scotia where he received a Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1995.

Ron will be remembered for his generous and humble acts. He was eager to help anyone who asked and dedicated much of his time caring for his late mother in her years with Alzheimer’s disease. Until his sudden passing Ron lived together with his sister Diane, helping to raise her children from a young age. Always there to care for them.

Ron was passionate about his physical fitness, mainly running, racquet sports, and working out at Dalplex. He also enjoyed baking for a hobby and sharing it with friends. He was a car enthusiast who took great care of his and his friends' cars. Ron had a unique sense of humor and enjoyed his collection of comic books.

Ron is survived by his sister Diane Khoury-Hanna (late Daniel) and brother Danny (Rose) Chedrawe, along with his nieces, nephews, and many cousins. He is predeceased by his niece Linda Khoury-Hanna.

A private Funeral Mass will take place Friday, January 7, 2022 11AM, at Our Lady of Lebanon Church with Father Nehme Eid officiating.
