Rose was my neighbour and she was the most sweetest, kindest woman. I will miss and cherish our long chats we had regularly. May your beautiful soul rest in peace. Sending condolences to Rose’s friends and family.

I am so sorry to hear of Rose's passing.  We were classmates in a lot of Business courses during the early '70s at J.L. Ilsley High School. She will always be fondly remembered. Sending my heartfelt condolences to her family.

My condolences to the family, I am so sorry for your loss.  I knew Rose for 35 years - we met in the math department at St Mary's. We shared many early morning breakfasts while listening for radio contests in her office, and she always brought in delicious leftovers to share for lunch, along with a slice of lemon loaf.  She was a wonderful friend and colleague, fiercely protective of the people she loved, and always up for a laugh.  I will miss her dearly.

I well remember Rose and her days at J.L.Ilsley. However, in recent times we found ourselves sharing a hospital room. Rose told my sister she knew me but I did not recognize the  current Rose . Then  her youngest sister came to visit and I recognized a younger Rose! Thereafter, we had some long chats. It was as if time had stood still.
Fortunately, I was discharged from the hospital  and but saddened to read  this obituary for Rose. 
I enjoyed meeting a number of Rose’s sisters and I extend sincere condolences to them. I was so glad to have had that time with Rose.

I worked with Rose in the Faculty of Science at Saint Mary's University. It was a joy to work with Rose ~ she was loved by many and will be missed greatly.

Rose was a loyal and dedicated secretary a JL Ilsley for a number of years. Rose's commitment to Ilsley contributed greatly to the school being considered the "the best kept secret" in the Halifax City School Board.
