I worked with Ruby as a anaesthesia Tech at the VG hospital....She was our senior tech, with a wealth of knowledge to share with us young kid's...She was friendly, and very motherly to all of us...She loved her family and spoke with such pride , of them...I remember her advice when I had my first baby , all of her helpful hints worked much better then what I read in a book....I remember her telling me her biggest fear was to outlive her children ..She never had to face that and is now resting peacefully with her husband Max.....sending my condolences to all of her family....❤

I worked with Ruby for thirty years and she was a friend for more years than that. I will always remember the stories Ruby shared about growing up in Newfoundland and going to the Granville Mission where she first started a career in nursing assisting an outpost nurse. Sincere condolences to Bonnie,Gary ,Guy and Ruby's family both near and far. ❤️
The photo enclosed is of Ruby and some of the girls she worked with for many years. She was loved by all.

I first met this wonderful lady at work at the VG Hospital in 1982. The Anesthesia Technician dept. was like a second family to us all and Ruby being the oldest was like a mother. We had many parties throughout the years but I remember one at Ruby’s home. I being allergic to cats and Ruby having one, I kept telling everyone there to put Max outside. Several times I said this until someone finally told me “ Cheryl, Max is Ruby’s husband.” We had a few laughs over that one and many more over the years. Ruby was always game for whatever shenanigans we got ourselves into.
She was a remarkable woman and will be missed. Condolences to Bonnie and family. 🤗

Please accept my warm heartfelt sympathy for your lost.
I saw Aunt Ruby last fall before I went away. She was very alert and happy to see my cousin Geraldine and myself. She reminded me of my Grandmother, her mom , who was as close to an angel as a human could possibly get.
She will be missed.
