
It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Ruby Dyer in hospital on May 26, 2017 at the age of 93. She was a resident of the Clayton Park area for 48 years and spent the last 5 years at the Parklands Seniors Residence. She was the wife of the late Frederick Bernard Dyer and a daughter of the late Norman Kenney and his wife Leora of Lower Argyle, NS. She was predeceased by her baby sister Adelaide, a brother Norman during WWII, her brother Frank Kenney and her sister, Aeneid Donaldson (Weldon). She leaves behind her youngest sister Doreen Goudey (Bob) of Ottawa. There are numerous nieces and nephews with extended families that loved her dearly as does her friends and neighbours from over the many happy years of her life.
Funeral arrangements have been made for a service at J. A. Snow Funeral Home at 339 Lacewood Drive at 1 pm on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. The interment will be at the historic Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Argyle Head at 3pm, Saturday, June 10th. The family would like to ask that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
