Ruth E. Walsh

Born in Hazel Hill, Guysborough County, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary McKenzie (Eustace).

Ruth is survived by sons Ron (Carolyn) Walsh, Upper Sackville and Percy (May) Richardson, Sackville, NS; John Walsh, Toronto Ont; Jim (Mary) Walsh, Economy N.S; and daughters, Bonnie MacLean, Saskatoon Sask; Heather Boyce, Marlene Walsh, Mary Richardson (Sue), Kathy Walsh (Marion), all of Halifax, 10 Grandchildren and 8 great grand children. She was pre-deceased by her husband John Walsh and James Byron Richardson three sisters, three brothers and infant daughter, Evelyn.

Visitation will be held in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax (902) 455-0531 on Wednesday, May 30th from 1-3pm and a celebration of Ruth’s life will take place in the funeral home chapel Thursday, May 31st at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the IWK or any charity of choice.
