Shirley was a devoted mother and wife. She especially enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren. One of her favorite things was summers spent in Mount Uniacke with all her wonderful friends and family at the cottage on Cockscomb Lake. Many laughs and stories were shared over our card games, cruises and bonfires.
Thank you to Cindy Bell and the staff of Palliative Care; Jenn Leger of Continuing Care and all of the home care support workers; Dr. Trixie Gregoire and Cindy Gill of Occupational Health for all your support and guidance. To the members of St. Michael's Catholic Parish, as well as, the great neighbours of Leiblin Park who called, visited and dropped off "goodies" to mom during her illness, we would like to express our gratitude. These visits and calls always brightened up mom's day.
Visitation will take place Sunday, October 15 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 16, in St. Michael's Catholic Church, 6 St. Michael's Ave., Halifax.
