With heavy hearts we mourn the passing of Stephanie Dawn Tracey-Sweeney, born April 11th, 1982, has passed away unexpectedly March 2, 2026, while visiting Nova Scotia, at the young age of 43. Born in Saint John New Brunswick to Pam Mabee and Daryl Tracey.
At a young age, Stephanie lived with her grandparents Melvin and Mary Hayes where she enjoyed travelling and camping, she also spent an abundance of time with her uncle Leo who adored her. She then started school and moved to Bathurst with her father and stepmom Daryl and Jean. Once Stephanie became a teenager she lived with her mother Pam Mabee in Saint John New Brunswick. Where she met Gary Allen, whom she married and had four children with; Wesley Tracey-Leblanc who lives in Moncton with his fiancée Kyla and their two children, Kayden and Journee LeBlanc. Cori-Lyn Allen who also resides in Moncton with her two children Chloe and Jaxon. Emma Allen lives in Fredericton with her partner Gavin Gattinger and Dominick Allen who lives in Moncton.
Stephanie had a fond love for airplanes at the airport where she would often go to relax and clear her mind. If she wasn’t at the airport she was at centennial park in Moncton watching the Ducks and Geese where she always wondered if they could wear her flip flops.
She is survived by her parents Daryl Tracey (Jean) of Milford, Nova Scotia. Pam Mabee of Saint John New Brunswick, Her Husband Daniel Sweeney of Amherst Nova Scotia. She also leaves behind her three brothers, Alan Tracey (Laura) of Pleasant Valley, Nova Scotia, Adam Tracey (Rebecca) of Beaverbank, Nova Scotia and Andrew Tracey of Milford, Nova Scotia. Along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her great-grandparents, Kenneth and Helen Losier: great-grandmother, Marie Kennedy; grandparents, Melvin and Mary Catherine Hayes; grandfather, John Losier; grandmother, Ruth Trecartin, grandmother Ruth Horton and her Uncle Leo Hayes.
Nothing put a bigger smile on her face than seeing and spending time with her grandkids whom she adored.
At this time, there will be no service or visitation, as Stephanie did not enjoy winter, a celebration of life will be held early summer in Moncton where she spent the most time with her pet geese.
If desired, family and friends may make a memorial contribution to the Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes.
