POWELL, Sydney Baden – 71, of Halifax passed away at home on October 10, 2011. Born in Swansea, South Wales, he was the son of the late Ivy and Baden Powell; beloved husband of Claudia (Watkins) and dearest father of Wayne (Claire) brother of David and granddaughter of Charlotte, all of Wales. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 15th at 11a.m. at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 3 Dakin Drive, Halifax.
Cremation has taken place with interment later in Wales. Flowers gratefully declined but if so desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
